The Magic Hundred Workout (Cruelest workout ever)

I just finished my break fast here in Thailand.
7 personal trainers living it up in a luxury villa in Phuket for the last 6 days.

We have been up early very morning (early for ‘holidays’ anyway) either doing a bit of training or getting to work to get a head start before breakfast.

It has been a pleasant experience so far. .ย  excellent food

Oh So Fresh

Oh So Fresh

an occasional training session on the beach. . .

oh wait the last one of those wasn’t that pleasant. .

We woke about 6am and Dax was already dressed and headed to the beach ahead of us. . we knew he was upto something ๐Ÿ™‚

We followed him down to the beach about 10 minutes later only to find Dax sitting there with the widest grin imaginable on his face. . .

Just a point to note. . Don’t EVER let an ex marine design a 6am workout. . because it may just end up looking like this. . .

(First mark out a 100m stretch of sand with something, a log or large branch would suffice)

100m sprint

100m swim back

100m push ups (push ups for distance so you have to push up and forward every rep)

100m seal crawl back

100m jump squat

100m roll

100m walking lunge back

100m sprint in water back

100m swim

Trust me it may not sound that hard. . it is. . the sprint is fine. . even the swim isnt that traumatising (considering you are being bashed around in the sallow water) but then . . the push ups for distance get really fun. .

Each rep has to be explosive and you propel your self forward each time.

The Jump Squats weren’t as bad as i thought they would be but I still ended up looking like I was performing some kind of half arsed dance as opposed to a jump by the end of it. Some of the guys looked like Bambi on ice doing them i wont name any names. . you know who you are ๐Ÿ™‚

The Seal Crawl was the most testing in my opinion. . you had to completely relax your legs and drag yourself along . . remember this was coarse enough sand and the tide was in.

Each ‘step’ was in fact a mix of a gulp of sea water and exfoliating your knuckles. . NICEEEE ๐Ÿ™‚

The walking lunges again werent too bad

Now for the Military roll. . i was later informed that i wasnt supposed to land on the top of my head after each rep. . who’d of known. .ย  My back looked like i was attacked with a nail brush. .

My chest and abs were raw and covered in scabs for days. .

It was worse than it looks . .

It was worse than it looks . .

My face afterwards says it all. . i look like im chewing on a wasp HAHA

Sure Dont Take My Word For it!!

The workout was a little bit more traumatising than the book. .

The magic hundred book is actually the reason im here. . . In Thailand,

Full Board, eating freshly picked fruit everyday, in a luxury villa, with a group of like minded people.
